Dhayah Fort, Ras Al Khaimah United Arab Emirates

Dhayah Fort is a piece of history and the only hilltop fort standing in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, (UAE). This old fortification was built in the 18th century and is famous for being the last resistance point to the British expedition of 1819.

Surrounding the Fort is a fantastic view of dramatic mountains, the sea and at the foot of the mountain lies lush palm gardens. (more pictures and video below)
