Leaving Barbados; My Quest For Dual Citizenship Continues
My request to extend my visa in Barbados got rejected. The Barbadian Immigration Authority felt I didn't have a good enough reason to extend my stay in Barbados. It sucks to leave sooner than I expected … Continue reading Leaving Barbados; My Quest For Dual Citizenship Continues

How Safe is Barbados? 2020
Before visiting Barbados, I wasn't really worried about how safe the island would be and how freely I could move around as a tourist considering i'm from Nigeria, black and would blend in quite well. However, my husband as a white tourist would stand out and thus safety posed a concern. This is because, based … Continue reading How Safe is Barbados? 2020
Week 1 in Barbados
I can truly say that Barbados is beautiful as nature made it, the Bajan people are very nice and will offer help without you asking for it. In the capital city of Bridgetown, roads are paved with old buildings painted in bold colors of orange, lime green, pink, blue giving the small town some character and just enough color to brighten up your day.
To all the time I spent in 2019
2019 has come to an end and like every crazy ass year before, there's no taking back all the time I've spent on social media scrolling mindlessly for hours instead of reading a book. I feel like a language you can't understand, like i'm missing out on life, yours, mine. don't think for a second that my roses are without thorns, i'm low-key in my lane fighting, learning, chasing the dreams hovering within my head space. ...thoughts...mind...power... is anything really worth it though? i keep trying and trying, tossed by … Continue reading FOMO
